Daniel Roberts — Profile, Projects & Professional Background

I have spent much of my working life around projects: measuring them, pricing them, managing commercial decisions, developing property, testing materials and trying to understand why some systems work better than others.

Education and project grounding

My academic background includes a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying and postgraduate legal study. The value of that training is not the letters; it is the habit of breaking a complex project into scope, cost, risk, responsibilities and evidence.

International work since 2009

I have worked across the UK, the Middle East and Australia, including consulting environments with aggregate project exposure above $1 billion.

From buildings to operating systems

Construction taught me to care about sequencing and interfaces. I now apply the same thinking to AI and business systems: define the inputs, understand the hand-offs and make accountability visible.
